Our
Story
We are Monica (M.A. Developmental Psychology) and Jackie (M.S. Education).
We’ve spent nearly a decade creating spaces where children and families feel truly welcome. What began in a shared early childhood classroom in 2017 quickly grew into a bigger vision.
After earning our Master’s degrees in Developmental Psychology and Education, we worked in elementary and intervention settings - and saw firsthand the gaps families were facing. We knew children needed more: more play, more movement, more connection, and more environments that honored how they naturally learn.
In 2023, we launched Sensory on Wheels, bringing hands-on, play-based experiences directly to families. It was fast, exhausting, and completely worth it. We advocated for the mess, the joy, and the powerful learning hidden inside play - while always making sure parents felt supported, too.
Thanks to our incredible community, that dream has grown into something even bigger.
The Space by SOW
The Space by SOW is a cozy sensory play and enrichment space designed for the whole family - children ages 0-10 and their caregivers.
It’s a space to explore, connect, regulate, create, and simply be. Every detail is intentional. Every child belongs. And every family is welcome.
