What is The Space by SOW?

The Space by SOW is a thoughtfully designed children’s sensory play and enrichment space created to spark creativity, connection, and hands-on exploration. Our space features open play sensory play stations, class experiences, our signature slime bar, and a private party room for birthdays and special events. Designed primarily for babies, toddlers, and elementary-aged children, The Space by SOW offers a warm, welcoming environment where kids can explore freely while caregivers relax, connect, or join in the fun.

Whether you’re stopping in for open play, attending a class, celebrating a birthday, or planning a special event, The Space by SOW is a space where play meets purpose.

Do I need a reservation to visit?

We highly recommend reserving your open play session in advance, especially on Saturdays and during school breaks. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows.

What ages is the space designed for?

Our activities are thoughtfully designed for children from infancy through elementary age. Certain stations may be better suited for specific age groups, and we encourage caregivers to guide children to age-appropriate areas for the best experience.

Do I have to stay with my child?

Yes. All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times during open play sessions. The Space by SOW will note if a class is a drop-off class or not. 

Do adults need to pay?

Admission is charged per participating child. Adults and caregivers are always free.

Is the slime bar included in admission?

The slime bar is not included with admission. We understand that not everyone wants slime to be brought home. Customized SOW slime jars are available for an additional $10.

Is the space cleaned regularly?

Absolutely. Cleanliness and safety are top priorities. Sensory materials, toys, and high-touch surfaces are sanitized throughout the day, with a thorough deep clean completed daily. 

Do you offer classes or memberships?

Yes! We offer enrichment classes, specialty workshops, and membership options that provide perks like discounted play sessions, celebrations, slime jars, and exclusive event access. Visit our website for current offerings and details.

Can I host a private party or event?

Yes! The Space by SOW is the perfect place for sensory and/or slime celebrations, school/camp events, and private gatherings. Our dedicated party area allows you to celebrate while we handle the setup and cleanup. Contact us through our website for package details and availability.

Where are you located and where can I park?

​60 Old New Milford Rd #1E, Brookfield, CT 06804 (private entrance on the right side of the main entrance of the building).

Parking is conveniently available on-site for guests.
